Abby Johnson, a mom and now former director to a Texas Planned Parenthood Clinic, retells her story through her book, below video interviews, and the Unplanned Movie in Spring 2019. Her story reveals the truth about abortion, Planned Parenthood, motherhood, babies, pregnancy, and sharing the truth to others. She shares about her life before and after her own abortion in 2000, even though her parents and church community had been pro life (i.e. against abortion). Abby provides helpful insight into the thinking, emotions, the unknowns, deception, pain, suffering, forgiveness, and grace. Her story provides a real look at the historical impact on our present time of the United States Roe v. Wade court decision in 1973 permitting the states protection of women to decide in aborting their baby within the three trimesters of pregnancy.

One does not have to be a Christian to understand the natural truth of why abortion is wrong, but, Christians are to realize that that natural truth comes from a supernatural reality of God and his plan for his creation — to trust and follow him. In that, God has naturally revealed that human life is created in the womb and to be protected and nurtured. He also reveals that the ‘most pressing issue’ of any age is never a singular political or natural topic, even abortion, but truly the topic of God and the gospel. He then inspires humanity to be reminded of his natural, created world that is to live for him — not die at the hands of each other — as well as the supernatural truths of his mercy, justice, forgiveness, and transformation on humanity.
