Unveiling Grace film further shares about the book’s content and revealing 7 more mormon’s journey in turning away from Mormonism to God and Christianity.
Lynn Wilder shares her life story about her, her husband, and their children turning from the religion of Mormonism to Christianity — making clear the distinctions between the two and the immense clarity that comes from learning to read the Bible’s Old and New Testament in context that reveals the truth and love of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and life following him.
The below videos show Lynn’s (mom) and Matt’s (son) testimonies in various context, which includes an 8 minute interview with the 700 Club as well as her sharing with a church in a fuller version and more details. Lynn provides insights in several areas from spending 30 years in Mormonism, her husband’s high priest temple service, her tenured professorship at BYU (Brigham Young University), her son (Micah) learning about Jesus from the Bible’s New Testament during his two year Mormon mission that initiated the change, and authoring her book, Unveiling Grace, that provides more details.
We are thankful for people and information like this to help others understand the truthful reality of real life issues and organizations, such as abortions and Planned Parenthood.

We understand this biblically, especially from how Paul trained Timothy in 1 Timothy 6 about training people to live for Christ in real life to love from truth transformed heart to see others come to trust in Christ. Paul even focused on Christians who were wealthy so that Timothy trained them not to put trust in wealth but in God. By this, God uses them to live generously among the world for people to learn of a generous God.

Hearing on H.R. 490, the Heartbeat Protection Act of 2017
For Submission to the Committee on the Judiciary’s Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil JusticeMy name is Star Parker. I am the founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education based here in Washington, DC and I want to thank you Mr. Chairman for this opportunity to declare my support of H.R. 490, the Heartbeat Protection Act of 2017.
The abortion industry all across America, and in particularly in our most distressed communities, is preying on our nation’s most vulnerable, brutally dismembering their offspring: and yet there is no federal protection that the women considering abortion receive full disclosure about the human being growing within her.
Recently a famous rapper name Nicki Minaj told Rolling Stone magazine that an abortion of her youth still haunts her: a heart wrenching story being told by many thousands of distraught men and women in hundreds of communities all across our great country.
I was one such woman: when years ago, lost in sexual recklessness, had four abortions; without any counsel nor information from the abortion providers about the distinct humanity of the life that was
growing within me.I heard all the propaganda of the abortion peddlers, in school, in media, from community and political leaders - yet I heard nothing of infant development in the womb nor any information about their
morality.Perhaps then, one might argue that little was known about the development or mortality of an embryo or fetus: very few instruments were available to medically or scientifically detect heartbeat.
But today, due to modern technology, this is not an argument that can be made, in particular with the advent of ultrasound where we can now hear and measure a heartbeat within the womb.
Need for H.R. 490, the Heartbeat Protection Act of 2017
To illustrate the humanity of the life in a womb and express the great need for this Heartbeat Protection Act of 2017, H.R. 490, I want to share stories I have heard over and over again in State after State about the impact of abortion on their personal lives.1. Texas: This man had deep regret of an abortion in his youth after discovery of information on fetal development upon his wife’s first pregnancy and he ended up in counseling for depression. When he saw the heartbeat of their expectant offspring on sonogram, his heart rushed with panic of the abortion he had a decade earlier with a girlfriend.
2. North Carolina: This couple talked themselves into an abortion for financial reasons and then couldn’t look at each other again after thinking about fetal development and thus ended their marriage.
3. Alaska: This pastor found out his minor daughter had had an abortion without consent after she was in agonizing pain in that she was carrying twins and the abortionist only killed one. The survivor of this botched abortion is now an adult and speaking out against abortion.
Interestingly and for the record, all three of these stories were told to me by men.
Abortion is one of the numerous hard discussions in life that we must talk through, address, correct, and help one another through in these difficult situations such as the mothers and doctors that have been or tempted to be involved. This abortion video interview by Live Action of Dr. Anthony Levatino reveals a lot to learn about abortion, from his personal life story to being a doctor who had done over 1,200 abortions. Dr. Levatino addresses the various aspects, stages, and methods of abortion along with the political and medical excuses to continue abortions. One thing Dr. Levatino raises is the important fact that no matter the legal, social, political, or personal reasons, abortion is still the killing and even murder of an baby inside the mother's womb.

The change came from a different truth and love he had not heard growing up and didn't care to know, content and fighting to love his life. Starting from elementary school, becoming open to a friend as a high school junior, led to dating and in college his lifestyle of homosexuality became a his "core identity."
He testifies to the truth and love of Christ being what changed him from seeing the world in a different light, through the proverbial light of the gospel that shines brightly though sometimes appearing dimly in a dark world and dark hearts. God intervened, opened his eyes to see, his heart to trust, and surrender his life wholly to the Lord.
Watch the incredible life story of this couple, testifying that Jesus is real, true, forgiving, and redemptive having revealed to them the brokenness of the world, the sin of being separated from him, the sinful choices they made like that of murdering their 3 unborn babies, onslaught of confusion about life, redefining truth and love, and discovering reconciliation.
The litany of questions create chaos in the mind like: How do you "atone" for this? Is this okay? What really is love? Fear and worry bring heaviness and conversations lead to redefining truth and love to get what we want like convenience, "If you love me enough, you will take me [relationship and abortion]. I will do this with or without you."
Dr. Darrell Bock and Bill Hendricks switch roles in this Dallas Seminary Table podcast, where Bill Hendricks interviews Dr. Bock about what the Bible reveals about money including misconceptions like "money is the root of all kinds of evil" or "money is a necessary evil." Dr. Bock helpfully answers by connecting biblical passages, history, and contemporary life.
John Piper from DesiringGod.org answers the question at Google.com in Mountain View, CA, "Is Jesus Christ an Egomaniac?" Piper begins with:
My hope in these few minutes is to listen carefully to four people who have been troubled by the self-exaltation of Jesus and of God in the Christian Scriptures, and then to offer a serious answer to their objections that has not only been satisfying to my mind, but a great source of joy and worship of Jesus Christ.

Conclusion: Therefore, when Jesus tells us that we must love him — treasure him, be satisfied in him — above all others, he is loving us. He is desiring and working and willing to suffer to enthrall us with the fullest and longest happiness, namely, himself.
Here is the end of the matter: God is the one being in the universe for whom self-exaltation is not the act of a needy ego, but an act of infinite giving. The reason God seeks our supreme praise, or that Jesus seeks our supreme love, is not because he’s needy and won’t be fully God until he gets it, but because we are needy and won’t be fully happy until we give it.
This is not arrogance. This is grace. This is not egomania. This is love.
And the very heart of the Christian gospel is that this is what Christ died to achieve — our full and everlasting enjoyment of the greatness of God.

John Piper, retired pastor over 30 years to Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN, wrote a book called Desiring God that became a foundation and website resource, DesiringGod.org. Piper has also been known for his message Boasting Only in the Cross which provided the popular phrase, "Don't Waste Your Life." This also turned into a book and rap song by Lecrae. The DesiringGod.org website contains an incredible amount of content that covers specific Bible passages, topics, question and answers, difficult subjects, conference information, and biographical sermon series of Christian people throughout history. The resounding message Piper makes from pastoring and Desiring God is that "God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in him."
John Piper preached "Boasting Only in the Cross" for the 2000 Passion One Day in Memphis, TN to thousands of young adults. The sermon became the catalyst to the book and Lecrae's rap song, "Don't Waste Your Life:"
